The 1955 camp classic “Queen Bee” starring Joan Crawford in the title role will be shown Friday at 8:15 p.m. at Hillwood Estate (4155 Linnean Ave., N.W.).

A picnic starts at 6:30. It’s part of the “Divas Outdoors” event presented by the Dina Merrill Film Program in partnership with One in Ten.

Crawford, in one of her all-time bitchiest roles, plays Eva Phillips, a manipulative matriarch who schemes and plots against her wealthy family. She takes her bath water “very hot.”
